Westcoast CertifiedLLC

California · Established 2022

We buy consumer electronics for wholesalers and warehouses.

Westcoast Certified LLC acts as a buyer on behalf of resale operations — Apple audio and wearables, MacBooks, gaming hardware, headphones, e-readers and streaming devices, in US-spec ready-ship lots quoted by part number. We spent the past year building the infrastructure that work runs on before scaling it, because we were not willing to grow on software we could not trust unsupervised.

What we do

One operating business, and a second line that exists because building the first produced tools worth offering to other people.

Primary business

Consumer electronics buying

We act as the buyer for wholesalers and warehouses that resell consumer electronics. The work is sourcing, qualifying supply, negotiating terms, and staying on a lead until it either closes or is ruled out — the part of procurement that most operations do not have the hours for.

Categories we work in: Apple AirPods, Watch and MacBook; gaming consoles, controllers and handhelds; noise-cancelling headphones and earbuds; Kindle and other e-readers; streaming sticks; VR headsets; gaming desktops; instant film and accessories.

  • Buying on your behalf, not selling to you — we sit on your side of the table
  • US-spec, ready-ship stock in master-carton lots, identified by UPC and manufacturer part number
  • FOB Los Angeles and New York; CIF Dubai and Miami; stock positions in the US, Dubai and the Netherlands
  • Built on existing wholesale demand and standing relationships

Second line

Tools, offered as APIs

Software we built for our own operation, in daily use here, and made available to developers and to teams running their own agents. Offered selectively, on demand rather than on a roadmap.

Two are described below.

Why we built the system before scaling the business

A short account of the bet this company made.

AI arrives capable, but it arrives blank. Whether it produces anything useful depends on whether a company can hand it the things that were never written down.

For all the attention paid to it, businesses keep reporting that adopting AI changed very little — no meaningful revenue increase, no meaningful cost reduction. We think the reason is straightforward, and it is not that the models are weak.

Every company runs on internal knowledge no one has ever had to make explicit: what it optimizes for, which trade-offs it accepts, what it refuses, how it behaves when a situation is ambiguous. None of that lives in a document. It lives in the people who have been there long enough. Software that cannot reach it produces work that is defensible and wrong.

So before scaling an operation, we spent the time making that layer real — externalizing intent into a form software can consume, and building the governance that keeps it inside those lines while it works unsupervised. That is why we are comfortable putting a buying operation on top of it now.

Where the trade knowledge comes from. This company's founder learned wholesale from inside a working distributor — the warehouse floor, the buying, and the sales side, where the whole industry runs on WhatsApp and hand-made price lists sent one at a time. Inventory lived in a phone's notes app. There was no system to see what was in stock or when it sold. That is the gap the infrastructure was built to close, and it is why a buyer here works with a system behind them instead of a phone in their hand.

Recorded corrections

Every correction is captured as evidence rather than repeated. They mark the boundaries — what this company will not accept.

Stated intent

What each decision is for, written in a form that lets software reach the right answer to a question nobody wrote out in advance.

Verified work

Work is checked by something other than whatever produced it. Nothing counts as finished on its author's word alone.

Tools we built along the way

Both are in daily use inside this company. We are gauging outside interest before committing to public availability — if one of them solves a problem you have, tell us.

In daily internal use

Video to teaching sheet

Turns a video of any length into a document another system can learn from. It reads the visual frames as well as the audio, so it works on material a transcript alone would miss — slide decks, screen recordings, silent walkthroughs, panels with several speakers.

It also captures what is demonstrated but never said aloud: what is visible in someone's workspace, the choices implied by what they do rather than what they explain. The result is an onboarding document, not a summary.

In daily internal use

Message optimizer

Takes rough dictated input and returns a clearer version without changing what was meant. It does not compress, does not harden hedged statements into absolute ones, and does not quietly drop the qualifications that carry the meaning.

That restraint took considerable calibration and is the entire point. Clearer instructions produce better results from any system reading them — and preserve the difference between "I am considering this" and "do this."

Contact

Sourcing enquiries, wholesale partnerships, and API access requests all reach the same person.

If you run a warehouse or a resale operation and want a buyer working on your side, a phone call is the fastest way to find out whether we fit. Email works just as well and reaches us directly.
